A weekly publication collecting art (e.g. painting, illustration, short comics, photography, sculpture) and short-form writing (e.g. fiction, poetry, non-fiction). Penny Thoughts is not just a place for finished work, we want to publish your experimentation as well. Draw the news, write about the weather, let us hear you. Take a chance.

SUBMISSION GUIDE: Images as 300dpi .jpg, .png or .pdf, Writing up to 700 word as .doc or .txt. You can submit your work to yourpennythoughts@gmail.com. You can also sign up to our mailing list to recieve the issue as it comes out by sending a message via the CONTACT page with the subject line 'MAILING LIST'.

USAGE POLICY: It's free to submit and your work will be hosted on our website, and promoted via our instagram and facebook pages. The deadline is friday of each week. Due to a large number of submissions we can't guarantee a reply to every submission, but you will be notified if your work is being used.
